Research & Survey for Grandparents

About Families by Edinburgh University is research once completed we can present to the government to initiate change.

I will be contacting you by email and F.B to help us in the research. I am pleading with you to  take part in this  and It will be completely  confidential.

The research is for grandparents who have received help from us at Grandparents Apart UK . Have you been satisfied with the help received. Did it do you any good. do you think our system should be adopted by the government. Have your say in this project about what you want like the Charter for Grandchildren being made mandatory.

This most important research for grandparents could prove really beneficial but only if grandparents participate.

Dear All,

Very exciting news!

Katrina Reid from the above organisation is helping Grandparents Apart by gathering existing research and creating a survey for us to find out what has helped grandparents who have contacted our group after losing contact with their grandchildren.  The information and support we provide is gleaned from our members experiences and we need to know your opinions.
Once finished the results of the research will be used to approach the government to show that better provision of support and advice for grandparents and families is neccesary.  Hopefully also with a view to further our campaign for more recognition for grandparents via the Charter for Grandchildren
